Witness appeal after suspected arson at Worcester play area

CAN YOU HELP? | We are appealing for witnesses to a suspected arson at a play area in the St Peter’s area of Worcester at the weekend.

Just after midnight on Saturday (12 July) we received reports of the children’s play equipment being on fire and the fire service in attendance at the site at Field Walk, off Bath Road in Cherry Orchard.

Approximately £30,000 of council-funded equipment was destroyed in the blaze and we are investigating the incident as arson.

We would like to hear from any eyewitnesses or anyone with any mobile phone footage or CCTV relating to the fire that could help our enquiries.
